7 Logos That Will Literally Blow Your Mind! (Aka I hate buzzfeed)

Let's face it. James Bond is awesome. And so is a 7 that looks like a super stylistic pistol that also fits because he's a spy. Managing to fit an icon into a monochromatic design is impressive.
It's pretty amazing how they took such a simple everyday shape that everyone recognizes, and turned it into a symbol for so many things. The star has been the symbol of the US Military for decades, but this iteration is certainly the most reverent and awe-inspiring in its design and color scheme.
The US Airways logo looks clean, gets to the point, and shows up really well on the blue tail of a US Airways plane. Honestly, what more could you ask for? You can just point and a plane and say "US Airways. See? It has a flag on it and everything."
I like the UN logo because it really depicts the message. The United Nations is a unity of nations. That's what's depicted. Not only that, but the olive branches symbolizing peace actually state the purpose of the organization. This logo by itself is a pictographic name and tagline by itself.
Don't even pretend that you don't hear the theme music along with the sound of Bugs Bunny munching on a carrot. The repeated introduction of this logo and its longevity are what make it successful - though in a pleasant way, unlike Coca Cola's intrusive ads and product placements everywhere that don't work. I still don't like Coke. But I sure do like cartoons.
The symbol that strikes fear into the hearts of criminals is also the most-loved and most-recognized symbol in the entire world. Because he's BATMAN.

The red cross is the best logo of all time. I'm not exaggerating; this thing has been around for a LONG time, and it's not going to go away. Ever. It doesn't just convey a message - it communicates all on its own. You see this on a bag, it's a triage bag. You see this on a helmet, it's a medic. You see this on a building, it's a hospital. This thing is everywhere, and it symbolizes so much more than the foundation that adopted it. This is the ultimate symbol.
